Blake Community Hall 100th Anniversary Schedule of Events:
Friday September 13, 2024:
This two-day festival kicks off on Friday the 13th with the band HEADRUSH on the main stage from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
Come hungry as NFRA will be firing up the BBQ and for a nominal fee, you can enjoy some hot dogs and hamburgers.
There will also be tea, coffee and some light snacks available.
Saturday September 14th:
Festival grounds open at 10:30 am.
11:30 - 12:00 pm - Singer JESSICA DURAND will be gracing the stage.

The Lakehead OPP Detachment Board is recruiting three (3) Community Representatives to serve on the Board. The Lakehead OPP Detachment Board represents communities within the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment Area and will include one elected official from each of the following seven (7) communities, as well as three (3) Provincial representatives and three (3) community representatives;
- Conmee Township
- Gillies Township
- Kiashke Zaaging Anishinaabek First Nation (Gull Bay)
- Lac Des Mille Lacs First Nation

Ontario Renovates Program

The Ontario Renovates Program, a component of the Investment in Affordable Housing in Ontario, is made available to The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administrative Board (TBDSSAB) through funding from the federal and provincial governments. Eligible individuals and families living in the Municipality of Neebing are supported by the social services and funding programs offered by TBDSSAB.

Our Recycling Program has Grown!

Residents will be able to recycle more plastic items.
Plastics numbered 1 through 7 will be accepted at the Municipal Landfill Sites. However, no plastic shopping bags are allowed.
Remember to rinse any liquid or food residue in your plastics and cans and bag these items in clear or blue bags before bringing them to the Landfill Site.
