Little Trout Bay Fish Derby

The Municipality of Neebing and the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority have joined together to host the Little Trout Bay Fish Derby. This one day event is being held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Little Trout Bay Conservation Area.

The derby will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Winners will be based on the cumulative weight of the "best-five" fish. Eligible Species include Lake Trout, Whitefish, and Salmon. Prizes for 1st Place: $1,000, 2nd Place: $600, and 3rd Place: $400

Registration starts July 19th and is open to all persons 13 years of age or older at the time of registration. Individuals under the age of 18 need a parent/guardian to sign-off on the registration in order to participate. Cost is $120 per team of two individuals. CASH ONLY ACCEPTED. Launch fee included. Registration forms are available at the Neebing Municipal Office, Lakehead Region Conservation Authority Administrative Office, and D&R Sporting Goods. Registration closes August 17, 2024.
