Emergency situations transcend geographic boundaries. When you dial 911, you expect a quick response, regardless of GPS coordinates. But fire protection and medical first response don't just happen in small communities. These services are provided through the careful planning and sacrifice of our local volunteers. Back in the early 1970's, the volunteers started out with water packs and portable pumps to protect from grass and brush fires. Today, our community benefits from 6 fire halls, 35+ volunteer firefighters and first responders equipped with state-of-the-art emergency equipment such as the battery powered 'Jaws of Life' and front line fleet vehicles like the new P108 Fire Pumper.
Training and emergency calls take a bite out of personal time, and expensive essential equipment is often procured through fundraising. Neebing Fire/Rescue Association is a registered charity comprised of community volunteers dedicated to fundraising in support Neebing Emergency Services. Neebing Emergency Services are our Neighbours and Heroes! These 50/50 Fundraising Raffles will help purchase the Fire and 1st Response equipment that will support our Emergency Services and, by extension, our whole community.
The jackpot for this draw continues to grow through the generosity of the support of the ticket buyers. The first draw closes on March 28th with the grand prize draw happening live on March 29th at 1:00 pm at the Municipal Office. Get your tickets now!
